F**K the police. Thata how I feel about it.

 

^meh, they are also the same people that we depend on and call for to protect and serve our community. so while instances like these suck, there also the same people that are putting themselves in danger in other everyday situations to keep the peace. it is what it is they say just not sure who they is

 

Not at all actually. I have never had a police officer do anything but harass me. I am smart enough to not put myself in situation where I need police assistance. Police crossed the line from public servants to jackbooted thugs long ago. Finally I am a combat vet who can and will defend myself without the help of the police.

My gf's kid likes to call them "con heo".

 

If I'm going that fast, I usually have the cruise on to avoid these situations. To be honest though, 5 over the speed limit is BS(unless conditons were aweful). I usually set my cruise at 60-62 in a 55mph roads and never get hassled(people usually pass me to). I also have a radar detector though, so I can hit the brakes if I start getting a signal.

It's funny that my little 2 liter can take hills in 6th gear, yet most everyone elses cars that I know can't. I assume my friends evo can but IDK.

Most police are out there for the good of the people. Most cops I have encountered are genuine and nice (even the ones who are giving me a ticket). Unfortunately all it takes is one or two bad experiences to ruin it for someone.

How much does the CR lip lower the front of the car?

My amuse bumpers lowest point is around 1.25-1.5" lower than my ap1 bumper was. Im going to change to the AP2 front sometime this year and was considering the CR lip, but i dont want to get it if its going to scrape too much. Itd be easier to get a knock off lip on ebay and replace them as they brake, especially since they dont need holes in the bumpers face. But the CR is better looking.
