I think they require you having a helmet regardless if you are 13.99 or faster due to having a convertible. I've ran against people in my SRT-4 against 16 sec convertibles and they all had to wear helmets.

John, as soon as you go through tech they will make you wear a helmet. They will see your turbo and be like you need a helmet. Also you are probably gonna be trapping 100+ anyway. They rent them at the track for like 10 bucks or something.

I might be out there Saturday.

 

$5 + license will rent you a helmet.

 

if your car is doing 13 seconds on a 1/4 mile you'll need a helmet. on a convertible you will always need one. im heading there now.

Im Alive. So is the V8 swap s2k. I've been in the process of moving. Also been sick and with out internet at the new place. I've decided to still work on the swap but im not in any rush to get it done now. With looking for a job and moving the girlfriend up to my place my toys have had to take a rest for the time being. Hopefully should have some awesome progress pictures as well as the new paint job
