Lots of bad news in the auto enthusiast world lately, I saw the Ron Tonkin post, as well as Paul Walker, but hadn't seen anyone mention this yet:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...-coma/4578523/

Happened at the end the year last year, I've been following it since and it finally looks like things might be taking an up turn.
Just though some of you might like to know.

I'm actually quite surprised as to how "quiet" this has been thus far. I'm following this closely as well. Hope he makes a full recovery!

I had been following the situation myself. It's ironic that for most of his life he has sped around a race track at absurd speeds, yet his time was almost ended in a vacation accident.

What cool parts are you guys gonna do with your return? I'm finally deep enough into my tax bracket that I get a good return this year! Going to buy and HKS single exit, pay off a credit card, and put the rest away for a track day....or Flashpro.

Flashpro is definitely next on my list. I'm surprised how much you gain with just a test pipe and tune. It'll put that whole "s2k's don't make any power at all with bolt ons" crap my DC5 friends like to throw at me to shame lol.

Lol eh well it's probably not going to do much top end, but you'll definitely make up some ground mid range which will feel better than it will actually show
