Maybe it's a sign to go turbo or supercharger while you are getting a new motor built! I think I saw a motor on craigslist with 60k for cheap a few days ago go check bro

Your Aem is fine just down try to drive through high standing water or go through puddles at high speed. For an added measure of safety drill a hole in the lowest point of the intake pipping.

Hey Brandon,

What was the exact cause of the hydro lock? It was the CAI?

Yea, my intake is right at the bottom of my bumper, and I don't have the vent to prevent hydro lock. I never thought I would be out in that much water in this car, but Oregon in April is very unpredictable and I wanted to Track!!!

Forged took the top of the motor off and said there is a ton of water in there, but they need to pull the whole motor to see the exact damages caused by the hydro lock.
