lol.. Booker's hair was like that because when I was taking the picture, the rotating fan was hitting him at the right time, so no worries Hiep.
But the reality is that its a love/hate relationship at the moment.. she's cute, but she also has been keeping all 3 of us a wake throughout the night right now. (Kennel training)

I'm looking too, we just had to put our 15yo Pom down and now the Toy terrier doesn't have a friend, 'cept a cat that really could care less. We've lost 2 other cats in the last 4 months due to a coyote problem (since cured I hope). I'm a fan of Yorkies but am actually looking for a larger (40ish lbs) dog that the twins can grow up with that won't feel too abused by 1 yo hands (and mouths). Our lil dog runs away from them whenever they get too close, can't blame her, once they get a hand on her she loses some hair. She's the least aggressive dog we've ever owned, she won't even protect herself, she just cries, it's kind of sad. She REALLY wants to play and tries to engage the cat which doesn't always work out in her favor as the cat has at least 10 lbs on her and plays w/claws out.
Really didn't mean to go on about me I was going to comment on your Yorkie's squinty eyes. Looks like he's been playing in the garden a bit

Hi Mistman,
The squinty eyes was probably my fault as I was trying to take some decent pictures of them with my crappy point and click. Maybe they were over flashed.
As for Yorkies, they play with our 3 year old niece very well. They're sorta like big dogs trapped in a small dog's body. If you like, you are more than welcome to stop by and bring your Toy terrier and see how they play.
We got Charlie for the same exact reason as you. Previously we had a 75 lb dog that Booker played really well with, but he passed back in April, and since the Booker has been very lonely. With Charlie, he's a complete different dog now. And we found that he's actually very protective of her, like a big brother.

Yeah, it was just comical looking, to me anyway.
Thanks for the invite, I appreciate it. My mom had a Yorkie for quite a while (it lived 22 years), it was a male and all it's life it would occasionally have an accident in the house. I talked to a few people w/them and there was a consensus about the males being a little 'special'.
We had Walker hounds while the 1st set of kids were growing up, we got the Pom as a house dog, she got along really well w/the hounds, Pom's have little attitudes and don't take a lot of crap, the hounds respected her.
Now that the older kids are gone we figured little dogs would be o.k., then we had twins (now 10 mo) and our little toy doesn't want anything to do w/them unless they have a cracker in they're hand then she'll just steal it and run away.
I'd really like a dog around 40 lbs, one that I can take in the woods, will be a good buddy to the twins and the toy and won't be afraid of coyotes. I'm thinking a lab mix or something like that. There's a guy I work w/who fosters dogs, I'm sorta looking that way.
