After a few set backs I'm back to working overtime on the car. I ripped out all the unnecessary Fuel return line trash. Also yanked out the recirc system for the fuel. Sway bar has to go temporarily until I can either have the stock one lengthened or have a custom one made. Engine goes in like butter now. No lube needed Also Im not quite sure how its going to work but I want to try and use the stock steering rack. Gotta power it up and see if it will work properly without the old ecu. If not then I'll just order one from flaming river on summit for a mustang and make it fit.

Picked up the engine earlier this week. Also have the new transmission..... Bad news is that the original trans I was going to use wouldn't fit with out some extreme mods. I ended up having to run a Turbo 400 trans. This means the clutch pedal had to go However I still will have to manually engage the gears with my B&m shifter. Also built the transmission cross member last night. We are getting very close to having the engine mounted. Once I get the motor mounts welded in, the rest of the car will just fall into place. Really the only struggles I have left are getting the drive-line measurements, Picking out a radiator. and figuring out if the stock steering rack will work.

Sad to see a carb on the motor, even more sad to see the clutch go

Eventually I will pull this engine out and put our ls engine in with fuel injection. And I've already tracked down a t56 transmission I just need to get a hold of the guy so I can take a look at it. Like I said before this isn't going to be a project everyone likes and I'm okay with that. I'm doing this more for myself and to explore what can be done with spare parts we have. As some of you already know im a flashy guy. I love being seen and this is just another extension of that personality trait.

I highly respect the work that you're putting into it. But, I could make a huge list of my personal dislikes. But anyways, I'll try not to be so negative.
