I bought this car in february from an auction as a break in. I picked it up for 4k. It was missing the seats, ecu, some misc interior parts, & top was cut. The shitty thing is the theives were lazy so rather than unplugging plugs, they just cut them, which included the ecu. I ended up change the engine and dash harnesss (fun stuff) it acutally wasn't too bad. Finding the harness' was much harder. I'm actually in this car negative $1000. After buying it I was having having trouble finding parts so I picked up wrecked one for parts. In total I had $7400 in both. I've made over 7k parting the wrecked one out and then I was able to sell the bare shell for 1k [yay me ].
Its an 00 silverstone. My initial intension was to flip it for a profit but after driving it for a month I've decided I actually like it so I'm patiently ( not really =] ) waiting for a clean ap2 to run through the auction so I can buy it before I sell this one .
