Oh wow Abhi, I am glad you are ok. That road is just down the street from my work. Hopefully we will see you in another S again. Well, you better get another S, I expect to see you again at the BMW track days with Anthony and I.

Update: finally a fair settlement has been reached. State Farm has come through for me, so I am glad. The Buy Back price is almost $6000, so I am not pursuing that (seems like S2000s have a lot of salvage value due to less production numbers). Thanks for all the well wishes. Now on to the next decision ........ (once I get the check in hand next week).

I dont mean to pry and dont feel obligated to share, but if you're willing? How much did they settle for?
I'm curious because your car was in such good condition and relatively low mileage.

Wow $6000 buy back that's crazy. Hope you didn't have any parts on there you cant live without. Are you planning on getting another S right away?
