^ yes it does. The non titanium versions are over a pound.

I am not sure if there is a point where there is no return on the increase in weight.

here it is ladies and gentlemen, i believe the girlfriend made a good choice. granted i think she had some help from a buddy of mine but its great all the same. the knob has a good weight to it, shifting feels solid and 10x better then my old one.
if you want something similar the exact name (copy/paste) "Moddiction Anvil Brushed Stainless Steel Shift Knob"
