Looks good!

I have driven around or/wa for the past 15 years without a front license plate on most of my cars and the po-po have never had a problem. Hell, Ive been pulled over for speeding tickets and they didn't even care about the front plate.

As more and more communities install red-light cameras and the new camera radar speed traps, they have a renewed interest in making sure that people have a front plate installed.

A photo of the front of a license-less car running a red light doesn't do them any good. So you are likely to see a greater effort for enforcement.

1) drive with it hidden
2) get pulled over
3) hit the button as cop walks up from behind your car
4) but officer, I do have a front plate!
5) cop walks to front of car and is quite confused.

However, I'll let you try that one!

The first ticket is $100 but can be reduced if you put your plate on and send the court a photo. The subsequent tickets aren't reduced.

Let me know if it works for you!

The remote seems a bit goofy, but the motorized mount is really cool. If it could have a three point toggle in the cabin for hide / auto / display, where "auto" would pop it out under certain conditions like "engine running while traveling 0 - 35 MPH" and hide the rest of the time, that would be sweet.

Cool toy, Larry, I hope you enjoy it and keep yourself out of trouble

I would think a "techie" like you could hack the remote and add that "auto" feature.

I plan on staying out of trouble. As I prefaced the first post, it is for use in states that don't require a front plate or for photo shoots .

I think we should just fight to get rid of the Redlight cameras and front plates.

When I am president I will outlaw the requirement of front plates - Except Police cars - since their cars will be bright pink I think they should have a bright green plate on the front.

Bummer, it probably wouldn't work with my splitter.
