Default Spring Cleaning

So with Spring slowly approaching (a whopping 55F yesterday!), it's almost time for me to do my usual overboard detailing. I figure it's time for some maintenance on the S as well.

What is everyone going to be doing (if anything)?

As for me:

- Semi-Annual cleaning of the AEM intake filter

- Replacing the cabin air filter (long overdue...hasn't been done since I've owned the car)

- Timing Chain Tensioner - either going to re-wind it (already done once) or replace it.

- New wipers went on last weekend

- CHIP REPAIR - I bought a touchup pen from HandA last year. Just now getting around to doing some fills and wet-sanding to blend them in. The few I've done so far dont look too shabby. Can still see them, but as the days have gone by, they are starting to dry and fade and looking pretty well matched. I still have LOTS more to do and I figure it'll probably be a couple of very full weekends.

- Once the chip repair is complete and the paint has had plenty of time to dry, I'll be doing some major polishing (to remove the sanding marks) and waxing with some of the new waxes I bought this winter...mmmmm Lusso Oro.

- Full detail on the car including engine and rims (not that they look very good anyway).

Who else has plans for cleaning up?

I cleaned my top w/ 303 yesterday while the sun was up. And cleaned up the interior. I use Lexol on my leather. Vacuumed and all too. Even washed the car lol. When spring comes around I'm going to clay and wax. Still thinking about powdercoating my OEM wheels now that I have an extra set of wheels.

I washed, clay bar'd, and waxed this last weekend. So I just need to vacuum and clean the dash/door pannels or something and I'll be good....for a week or so

We had matching dirty cars, now we have matching clean cars with shiny wheels.

I know what you mean about the rock chips...that's why we had dirty cars...it covered up the rock chips.

I am planning on doing the following:

A full detail
Changing fluids (trans, diff, and oil)
Switch to my summer wheels
Make a hardtop stand
Take pics when I'm all done so Huy can make me a name badge

Aaron, I need to hit you up for some chip repair info. Last time I washed my car, I found a pretty bad one on my door.
