I got a brand new one from honda last year for free, and the guy who I bought the car from paid for the install. Maybe call them and ask for one? Idk how I got it for free but it was awesome.

You don't have to be the original owner

do you know what i need to do? and if tct is under one of those flaws they manufacture with? since a lot of ap1 tct go out pretty fast i'm guessing it is a problem since factory kind of thing.

lol yeah after I bought the car it started making the TCT noise like 5 minutes later (no noises during the time I test drove or when I was looking at the car)... I thought my engine was about to blow up so I took it back to the guys house demanding my money back or I will sue him because he said the car was in perfect working order. He said it was the TCT and he said he had told his son to get it fixed because they got the part from free from honda (they weren't the original owners). The worst you could do is ask. I know there is a guy named Johan Nelson at Beaverton Honda with a NFR so he will probably know what you are talking when you call. Good luck.

Anan just ask if there would be any good will consideration with the part, it doesn't hurt to ask if u pay for install if they will good will the actual part. You will need to talk to a service advisor not the service receptionist though

They will not good will a part. The purpose of goodwill consideration is to fix the problem that is caused from a failed part.
