Are you sure those roads are paved up there?

Just have Stewie airlifted to the start, or is this going to be a loop?

The way I figure it, it'll be around $650 for gas for one way, if the prices stay stable. Can get it done in about 4 days of driving for one way, that's if you only stop to sleep for 4 hours. And since you're only sleeping for 4 hours, you might as well sleep in the car at a rest stop, don't worry about checking into a motel.

As for amenities, if you need AC - go top down, if you need heat - go top up. As for the stereo - go ipod.

I was thinking 9 days. Maybe enjoy the scenery and get a good night sleep

But if you're into blitzing a drive, how about I-40 from the Atlantic to the Pacific, Sunrise to Sunset, one day. Not entirely a legal endeavor but it'd be fun!
