Visit "home" in Sept.
So most of you know I missed the Mt St Helens drive because I was on my way back from visiting my parents. I got to spend almost 2 weeks in "The Old North State" (nickname for North Carolina).
During my visit I got to teach my dad how to clean a car. Neither of their cars have been waxed since they got them, so it was a chore to clean them up. I did not feel like putting the arm work into clay baring, so we went right to a deep cleaner for the surface, followed my multiple layers of Liquid Glass. Here is a pic of mom's car. It is not perfect, but I was able to remove most of the small scratches and put some protection on it.

I don't have any pics, but my dad liked how her car looked so much that he wanted to do his too. So we tackled possibly the most neglected paint I have ever seen. I really could have used Aaron's help.
Now he has caught the keep it clean and looking nice bug. BTW, after some of his golf buddies saw his car and asked what he had done, the entire town was sold of of Liquid Glass, I should ask them for commission!
This is a picture of part of the club house at Pinehurst (host of the 1999 and 2005 US Open.)

US Flag at the club house - they were sanding one of the 3 practice greens.

Statue of Payne Stewart - winner of the 1999 US Open. - This is a favorite picture spot for visitors.

Here is a picture from "Supper on the Grounds" - this is a place my mom vol. and I helped set up, clean up, tended bar, and photographed. The original house was cut in half by brothers who were fighting, one moved his half down the street and added to it, this half was added to multiple times.

BTW the original part is the small white section on the right.

So there is a recap of my "vacation" it seems like I did as much work as I did relaxing, but oh well.

Nice Garret, the car looks really good. I know what you mean my grandmas car was neglected all winter and she wanted me clean it. I must have washed it about 3 or 4 times to get clean. Looks like you had a nice vacation, nice pics as well.
