Default Which wheels can handle BBKits?

Hello all,

Looking for information concerning those of you that have installed Big Brake Kits, and
which wheels they fit behind. If you've added a BBK, which one and which wheels are
they hiding behind?
I'm finding if quite difficult to get this information from both the wheel dealers, and the
BBK dealer--seems all they know is, well, nothing. They suggest trial and error. I'm not
made of money!

I'm either going with the StopTech kit, or some form of Endless kit for the brakes. And I
really like the specs on those Volk ce28n wheels--super light.

My main goal is to reduce unsprung mass. I want to keep the F/R brake ratio as stock,
or very near it.

Any information you have to share is greatly appreciated.

If you read through these there are allot of specs that they list that will fit with the BBK's.

Or print out the measurement guide here and compare it to the wheel specs that your interested in.

Thanks for the links. I looked. Nothing conclusive, though. I'll email some of those that were listed
to get more information on their exact setup.

I don't want to use spacers, especially 15mm! 3mm would be okay, but hoping not to
mess with the scrub radius on the front if possible. I may have to have something custom
made. I think that having the hat offset further back along with a different caliper
bracket, I may get the clearance I need without using a spacer. I'm almost certain that I'll
be using the Volk CE28N wheel. They seem to be the lightest and come in the right sizes.

I did print out the StopTech template to see if my stock wheels would fit--not even close. They
were about 15mm off. If I had the wheels already, I could see if they fit. I don't really want to
buy wheels just to fit the brakes, or vise versa. By the way, StopTech had no list of wheels that
could be used with their BBK. Too bad, that could really help those shopping around.

I do plan on keeping the staggered setup. The Volks are 7.5 +50, stock is 7 +55.
And you're right, I am considering the entire setup. This is why I'm searching for
fitment. Looking to see if stock specs on the BBKs will clear whatever kind of wheel.
I'm not set on the Volks, but they seem the best wheel for reducing unsprung mass.
To modify the brake kit, or piece together a setup shouldn't be too difficult. Keeping
brake balance in mind, of course. Willwood has plenty of parts to choose from.

I'm not looking to increase brake capacity as much as reducing unsprung mass. The
brake system seems to be the place to start; along with the wheels.

Overall goal... increase cornering forces through suspension modifications and
tuning. The stock brakes seem to have enough capacity for the kind of driving
I do.

Thanks for responding
