They weren't here because they never drove the thing and if they never drive it, why would they be part of the group?

Obviously that's an unloved, neglected car that needs a new home with someone who will appreciate it and drive the wheels off of it.

Matt is right....our cars are meant to be driven....HARD

Sorry for the off topic.. Matt the welding of the torn right upper A-arm bracket from the frame that you guys did to my car seem to hold up really well ....we check after the last track day and it looks fine....now I can go back to what I do best....pound the curbs hehehe I will keep an eye on the other side and it may need some welding sooner or later.

Agree with AP2autox, not sure what the exact statistic is, but I'd be surprised if we even represent 10% of all the S2000 owners in the area.

There's like 3 other S2000 just at the same park lot at my work, and none of them even knows about S2Ki, its just not everyone's cup of tee I guess.

I've seen one suzuka (Ap2) w/ oem lip and spoiler. And I've two different NFRs one ap2 and the ap1 (got to test drive lol). Saw a suzuka Thien Hong last night parked on the side of Sandy w. some black/chrome wheels. Looked pretty nice.

supposedly, from talking to Gabe at Import Performance, there is a turbo'd berlina black s2000 around here somewhere. Or at least there was when he mentioned it to me, which was actually like a year ago. I saw the car at his shop once but it wasnt turbo'd yet, but I've never seen it on the road.

You MAY be referring to boostinmarc (I believe that's his screenname) who lives in the Eugene area and has posted on here a few times ...

He drives a BB AP1 with an OEM hardtop, lowered on Mugen wheels.

Does this group have cards for sticking on windshields? I've seen other groups do that. Usually a business card sized invitation to S2ki.com specifying the local region's sub-forum and who to contact for more information.

Could be, but I wonder if he's in Eugene, what his car was doing at a mechanic in Bend. I assumed the car's owner lived in Bend but maybe that's not the case.
