I HAD a bike. Riding can be a lot of fun especially in a group like our S2ki.

I would get another bike but not this year maybe next. I personally like the Honda 600RR
but thats the Honda in me. But you really can't go wrong with any on the 4 Japanese bikes.

Anyways I was at Autozone few days back and he saw that I had a S. He ask what year and I told him it's a '02. He said "oh did you know that they are slower then the '00?" I was like okay I don't think there was a difference in power. The he goes on to tell me that his friend has a turbo S and another has a 2JZ in his S. In my head I was like okay whatever man. I would love to see a 2JZ S.

So my question is I think they did changed the ECU for the 02-03 AP1 but did it really make a noticeable difference?

I just aquired a bike from my little bro. It is an 08 GSXR. He is going through a hard time and could not afford the payments any more so I took them over until I can sell it or he gets back on his feet. I don't really ride much but I might have to take it out a few times.

Those Gixxers are some nice bikes.

People believe the 02-03 is better than the 00-01. There are no dyno's to prove anything, but this is a pretty common response to the swap:

See thats what I thought and I questioned the guy from Autozone but he just couldn't back up his reasoning.

There are 2jz S2000's on youtube.com. Pretty neat idea, but too much weight I think.

I don't think we are going to get anymore of these swaps anytime soon. I assume you guys have read about the troubles with 50/50 Racing.
