I didn't know I had a chip.

I went to the bank at ten no crack.

Went to the store at five whole corner of window cracks in every direction with no

signs of damage of any other kind. "I'm so confused".

Me too! I have a little chip on my windshield. but only very little though. Hopefully a simple chip repair will do it on mine. Sorry to hear about your car, Geoffe and yes, that's what the insurance for. About the check engine light...you gonna have to pull the code and find out what's causing it. I wish I have a OBD-2 scanner....so I can help you out.

How much to replace? Why don't we get a group buy together and get all our chipped windshields replaced

Most prices are right arount $310. I found a low in this area of $280 and a high of $360. Few units in stock but they can get them shipped it quickly. I have no idea what/if the discount would be for a group but suspect it would be modest.

When I had my wind shield replaced, I did it through safelite. I remember paying about 200ish, and I used my insurance because they love to replace wind shield especially you call them up first and tell them you have a hard time seeing out of it.

Safelite come out to my work place and replaced it while I was at work, and gave me brand new wipers too for free.

Speaking of cracks.. I just noticed I got one too!

I've not driven my car all that much during the winter, and then the one time I took it out to the Htech meet, I got a big chip in it... grr... I hope it doesn't get worse.

Better to get it filled rather than "hope" in my opinion

Probably wouldnt cost anything if your insurance is like mine.
