Default Windshield Replacement

I know we tried this last year. Several of us are in need of new winshields due to pits, chips, and cracks.

I made a few calls today and if there is enough interest I will make more to try to come up with the best price.

I have negotiated with one shop in the Beaverton area for:
$215 for winshield with new rain gutter seal.
OR
$255 for windshield with shade band at the top with new rain gutter seal.
He will be able to give a discount if we do a bulk/group buy.

I wanted to guage interest before call more I see what kind of prices we can get.

If you are interested, post up.

Which sort of glass does the shop use, Garret?
I've always heard PPG is the original glass used in the S2k.

Depending on bulk pricing, I may want in.

Oh...I wish I woulda known. Paul and I just got ours replaced. Oh well! We got our replaced by Vancouver glass. They did a good job for a good price, but I was not overly pleased with the customer service. Aka the main guy did not treat me very kindly.

Does that mean when P&E repaint their car, you are going to repaint yours?

Sounds like you are trying to keep up with the 'Smyers'.

Mine is still in fairly good shape, only a couple of pits that are even noticeable, so I won't be taking advantage of this.

But if there is ever a group buy on new front bumpers, I would definitely be interested!
