RadioZero,
Yes, it was Craig that I had the pleasure to place the order through. It was not him that laughed at me when I told him that it was blue.
Anyway, this morning at 8 a.m. I spoke to the Parts Manager and he said that we are shooting for a replacement to be delivered by the end of the week.

i would suggest trying to purchase the Blue top for cost and reselling it. I'm sure the dealer doesn't want it back. It is a PITA to store, repack, and re-sell. Just a suggestion ...

It is still in it's packaging. I never opened the hardware boxes or lifted the top out. I guess they are going to pick it up when they deliver the new red one. I imagine they will ship it back to California where the original mistake happened. List price was $2995. They charged me $2500. I think I saw on their computer that the dealership's "cost" was $2350. I'm sure it was less than their computer showed. Be kind of nice if they forgot about it........ I'd paint it black.

This kind of luck happens to a few but never me.

dude that sucks

hope they give you express shipping or something for the mistake
we are going to deliver it in one of our parts trucks. this is an unfortunate mistake but the parts manager put in some phone calls yesterday and has got another one coming.

i dont really understand how the Honda warehouse it came from could possibly confuse ZN for ZG, especially on a part that is very rarely sold. you would think they'd double and triple check it. but of course, i PM'ed thraak to tell him it came in without even looking at the part numbers on the box, i was quite excited about its arrival too

cost actually went up $80 after we ordered it. i actually only made $8 on the deal lol (me personally, via commission).

the parts manager said when we drop off the red one we will pick up the blue one and it will be shipped back to the warehouse that screwed it up.

and again, sorry about this situation Thraak. if there was anything i could have done to prevent it, i would have.
