CEL this morning
Hi all s2k gurus out there. My fiance has been a member to the forums here for a very long time and is usually very DIY. But to get to the point, he's down in Orlando this weekend on work and woke up this morning to a check engine light and he says that it seems his car is misfiring when the RPMs change. What I am trying to find out is a mechanic shop that is fast and reliable for work on s2ks that he can have it towed down to there to be worked on. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated on a reliable shop! We've trying calling First Class Automotive because that was one I heard good things about on the forums, but apparently they are only Monday-Friday. And I got him the number to Dynasty, so hopefully that will work out, but I'm trying to find other places that people trust in Orlando.
To clarify, there is no strange engine noise (I.e. Spun bearing or slung rod). Verified half a tank of gas. Idles at good RPM (800-1000) but the engine is puttering like there is a misfire of bad cylinder. Seems like it is fine when kept at a steady RPM 2k or 2500.
CEL is blinking and not solid.
Anyone have any ideas feel free to post. He is stuck in Orlando and has to be home Monday (jacksonville)

I'm here on business so I don't really have the time to work on it nor the tools. I Called Franks Mobile Auto Service. Bunch of nice guys. Here are the Engine codes I received on his checker.
I'm no mechanic and I don't know codes but this seems like too many to me.
Code001:
72-01 Misfire No.2 Cylinder
Code002
73-01 Misfire No.3 Cylinder
Code003
74-01 Misfire No.4 Cylinder
Code004:
101-3 (ff,1e,65, 3)
Code005:
124-3 (ff,1e,7c, 3)
Code006:
124-4 (ff,1e,1c, 4)
Code007:
125-2 (ff,1e, 7d, 2)
Code008:
128-1 (ff,1e,80, 1)
Code009:
129-4 (ff,1e,81, 4)
Code010:
132-2 (ff,1e,84, 2)
Code011:
136-2 (ff,1e,88, 2)
Code012:
136-3 (ff,1e,88, 3)
Code013:
137-2 (ff,1e,89, 2)
Code014:

We changed the plugs with OEM Honda NGK platinums. They did the work for me. It is running and revving smooth but still isles rough. Also, it is at times a bit laggy to the throttle. If any has suggestions, let me know.
Thanks

Any Autozone or Advance Auto Parts should be able to read the code for free. If the situation is that bad, he may need to suck it up and go to a dealer. Unfortunately they are going to charge you to pull the code.
I don't think my FlashPro will pull a code on a 2003.
If he needs a place to ditch the car for a few days I live over by SeaWorld and he would be welcome to throw the car in my garage. Shoot me a PM if you need help.

Unfortunately they are also a M-F outfit but Harrell and Beverly Transmission are the only people that I really trust to work on my car. They are located in Sanford. It is a family owned shop and the owners have helped me over the phone diagnose problems before. You pay a little more, but you get what you pay for.
