All CO's are CO's no matter where they go on this forum. That's common sense. But are you part of Orlando's community? Do you come to our meets on a weekly basis? Do you personally know all of the members here? I'm not trying to segregate anyone or anything. Whether we like it or not, there is a segregation as to what region you are from. It's not in a sense of we are better than you or anything, it's the fact that we deal with people from our region on a weekly basis. You know Tampa because it's your home. I know Orlando because it's mine. I'm proud to be a part of this forum where all S2K's can unite and share ideas and thoughts. This is the most active and united forum I've ever been a part of.

Don't get me wrong here, I have no ill feelings towards any members of this forum. None to you in particular either. Hell, if y'all come over here, I'd go out for some beers with all of you. But just like you said, paying members or guests have the opportunity to post what they feel necessary to state. I guess Speedy doesn't apply to that though. Is he not a paying member or guest? It's just a little arrogant and frankly rude for you to demand an explanation as to why Speedy posted his personal opinion and for him to "reconsider having such a special position of C.O."

I'm sure you can ask anyone in the Orlando community about their opinion about Speedy. I'd be abashed to see if anyone thought he wasn't "worthy" like you questioned.

 

I think it would have been less complicated had Speedy just said he wasn't going and not make the inference that it was a Tampa meet. That seems to be what stirred the pot ... understandably.

i'm interested in any kind of group roll out. i joined the community for this sort of thing. i'll have my gf following behind with the kids in our grocery getter (still an H badge) so i'll have her duck out for the photo ops
