Seriously John, consider getting a trailer and a hitch for the saturn. It may be some more work, but I think that's your best bet.

So's the tow rating for the S2000, but that doesn't stop guys from buying hitches, and towing a few hundred pounds of tire trailer/tires/tools/etc...

think outside the bun man! You're shooting down the "towing a cheapo harbor freight/uhaul trailer with the saturn" idea a bit too soon i think...

I am pretty sure your Saturn is outside its warranty period so if you exceed your towing limit, that is one less thing to worry about.
