Did anyone catch the channel 6 news today, they did a segment about stolen S2000 seats. Great story: said seats are worth 4k each and told you how to steal them without setting off the alarm. Nice. They also stated that seat locks are available through the local Honda dealer. If it's on the news it must be true. I might expect to see more go missing.

I am sure it was channel 6 because I recorded it. Did a search on their site and the story was no where to be found.

Wasnt there one exactly like this about a month ago? On some other news channel? They interviewed some guy that had his stolen 3 times before the welded his seats down.... they also show the guys getting in the car pretty much showing you how to do it.

Still no sign of it on their site. Maybe someone realized how idiotic it was after they aired it and stopped it from being put online.

well i saw it. it was very depressing. the guy got hit twice, his neighbor got his ripped into, and "classic honda" on w colonial drive had four cars damaged. so it really means you can't even trust your car overnight at a dealer. (like i would ever go back to "classic honda" anyway)
i have a feeling things are going to get worse before they get better. there are a heck of a lot more civics than s2000's out there.......jeez, even with seatlocks yer top is f#@*ed.....has anyone had luck with "seat locks window stickers"?

i think it was actually Holler Honda that had s2000's broken into. the news is wrong (imagine that)
