that resistance you're feeling is usually the push rod on the slave cylinder wearing against a small divot in the fork. Just take off the two 12mm bolts that hold on the slave. Pull the dust boot back and you'll be able to remove the push rod. Smooth out the end of the push rod with sand paper or something similar, grease and reassemble everything. The drag should be gone.
Soo Just went to Dynasty Auto today and with almost 2 hours worth of labor they tried everything mentioned above^ they also bled out the clutch to release any air bubbles and that still didnt solve the problem. They eventually told me they think the issue is with the pressure plate which is frustrating because I just installed a brand new stock pressure plate 5,000 miles ago along with a new flywheel, throw out bearing, friction disk and the rest of the clutch assembly. I also had a new master cylinder installed right before I replaced the clutch.

Is it even possible for any of those parts to wear out that quickly? I just cant imagine having to purchase any part of the assembly again. If anyone has some advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

if the car runs and drives okay except for that. Come out to the next meet on Thursday and I'll drive your car so I can point you in the right direction as to what repairs may need to be done.

As far as how fast a clutch component can wear, it depends on driving style, I've seen people burn clutches up in 100 miles and some who have over 100k on them. If the clutch pedal was adjusted properly after the clutch job it could have lead to premature wear.

Ya its weird because there is absolutely no slippage through any of the gears, the only thing im having problem with is the pedal, it feels very strange. I might come out to that meet on thursday. So if you would like to take a look at it that would be cool. See you then.
