Default Need help with my top!

Hey guys, I have a really shitty soft top and just sold my hardtop and bought a new softtop with glass from topsonline.com. I have never done a top change b4 and it looks kind of difficult for my tastes, so if someone actually knows how to do this and is willing to help me I will pay you 150 dollars, also, might need to have a riveter, Thanks, just shot me a PM if your good at this and can help me out, located near UCF.

the guy that did mine the first time did it in 4 hours. he's an authorized installer for robbins tops which means if you have that brand the warranty is 5 years. anyways if you feel youd rather let a shop do it and dont want to pay the 600-800 bucks most shops charge let me know i get you the number to the upholstery shop. its a whole day job (maybe 2) if its your first time. I was doing ok at taking most of it apart but got cold feet when i got to the whole top assy. i hope you have a garage cuz mines been slashed twice in less than 8 months and i dont live too far from you. goodluck with the project though.

Yea I don't mean to say anything bad, but doing a top is a real pain in the ass. I don't even think I would do my own, and I do everything to my car myself. I would rather do a clutch than change the top. Jman's guy seems pretty good and he did a great job on his top. That is who I will use if I ever have to do the top on my car.

I would if I could, I'm just so swamped right now I don't have any free weekends until mid july. If its something that can wait, or if a weekend opens up, I can help you with it. I did mine and it took about 12 hours to do, but I had never done one before. There's some writeups on here on how to do it now.
