Default Painting OEM Hardtop

Hello Orlando!
I purchased a yellow OEM hardtop last week, but I would like to paint it black (my car is silverstone). Does anyone know of a good trust worthy shop where i could get this done??
I looked into maaco and thought of getting a quote this coming week, but if there is a better option out there please let me know!!

OR! if anyone would like to trade me for a BB hardtop in mint condition, i may consider that also.

You could just get it wrapped.

True, but do you know how durable it is and/or if you can tell the difference between that and paint? I've never seen wrapping done.
Thanks!!

Wrapping isn't that great of an option if you want to keep it that color, Ive seen them bubble and fade.

Right especially here in Florida... Good input.

Anyone know if "Rudy's Auto Body & Paint" is any good? Located in east Orlando

please do not go to maco or econo paint or any of the low end places that use single stage paint or very cheap base/clear. I have had to repaint alot of peoples cars that go the cheaper way out and then realized that when it comes to paint and body you pretty much get what you pay for. If you cant decide on a place you trust or have seen work they have done send me a message. I would be wiling to help out a fellow s2000 owner at a fair cost.

Thanks for offering! What is your experience with car painting? And do you currently work at a local shop?

There is a small family owned shop in St. Pete that does great work. I found them on craigslist and was skeptical at first, but they did an awesome job painting my lip. I know it's not as big of a job as yours, but the outcome and service was the best I have ever had from a body shop. The lip was in horrible shape, and now it looks like new and the paint matched perfect with my BB. I lost their number when I got a new phone, but if your interested in going that far out I can look it up for you. Also, they charged me $120 to repair and paint the lip, gave me the receipt of the paint cost which was $84, and buffed the lip for free when I had it installed.

I'll be going to A-Class AutoBody First thing Monday morning to get my fenders painted. They are located on Michigan Ave in Kissimmee. They do great quality work. You can easily find them on google. A lot of super car tuners go to them. I only go to them. 2646 Michigan ave unit a Kissimmee, Florida 34744 407 518 7337

Never ever consider macco or econo.
