The article that I read on the rock fall said it would be cleaned up by at least April 1st.

Bad news... going to bow out of this one. Hurts me to say it but even with the tax return finaces just is not going to allow this to happen. That being said I'm going to DBR and I'll put it all on a credit card if I have to.

To those who are still going:
Stay between the mustard and the mayo and come back with video!!!!

I'm going up in a week so I'll report back about the area as best I can. We'll be staying up in Asheville but I plan on making a little trip near the Dragon just to see it again

There are so many great roads to drive up there that I am not worried. While up there this week I found some new ones. That is half the adventure.

Agreed!!

I am vacationing up here in Helen, GA and spent 6 hous today spanking the roads and routing them for the roup that is coming up in three weeks. The new Dunlop Star Specs are spectacular.

There is so much to do, a weekend at the Dragon is just not fair nor enough time to enjoy it all. Regardless of the temporary closing of the Dragon, the environment of the group, the roads and the car is all the reason(s) you'll need to do this.
