FYI, The following has been posted in the Tampa WTD Thread. If anyone leaving on Thursday want's to join our group roll you are more then welcome. We can arrange to meet up where the turnpike meets I-75 or at the rest stop near Gainesville.
3/16/2009 - I have arranged a group rate for the Dillard House for Thursday (4/23) evening. The Rate is $69.00. Please call and make your reservations at 1-800-541-0671, let them know you are with the "S2K Group" and want to book a room in the Blueridge. Also if we plan on dining there Thursday evening (we missed it last year) they stop seating at 8:00PM. Breakfast is served from 7:00AM to 10:30AM on Friday morning if anyone is interested however you may want to eat light because the "Fun" begins early in the drive Friday monring with War Woman Road!
Please post up when you have made your reservation. The schedule for Thursday (4/23) is:
6:00 AM Optional Breakfast @ Cracker Barrel (I-75 & Hwy 50, exit 301 off I-75)
30405 Cracker Crossing Blvd

7:00AM Departure from the Cracker Barrel
(Full tank of fuel, top down and were off!)
Route will be North on I-75 where we will exit onto Hwy 129 just north of Lake City and take it all the way to Dillard Georgia. There will be lots of places for a lunch stop and hopefully we can make it to Dillard house in time for dinner. If not there is always Mama G's in Clayton Georgia.
Hopefully we can get a few of the Orlando crew who could join us on I-75 and roll together. I will be posting this in the Orlando thread to see if they are interested.

We actually get on Hwy 129 just north of Lake City Florida and take all back roads into Dillard Georgia, then Friday morning we start with War Woman Road, then onto Hwy 28 into Highlands then the mini Dragon on the way to Fontana.
This route was put together by Zacksdad2 (Scott) and we have taken it several times.
On the Thursday drive up we used to take all interstate but that is so boring especially in the S so last year we mapped out this Hwy 129 route (Hwy 129 as in Dragon) and we actually get on it while still in Florida. It has some straight flat sections and some interesting areas to go thru with some fun roads. Much better than the interstate.
