There is really no price differential between motorcycle and SA helmets, you can find anything from $150-$2000 for both. The most important thing is getting a helmet that fits properly for safety. If you can find a SA that fits cheap all the better. The only other possible safety benefit is that some SA helmets will have the anchors for a HANS device or some other neck brace if you want to go all out on the safety equipment.
