ok....got my exhaust in today, Invidia N1. ok I knew this catback was going to be loud but this thing is crazy! without the silencers I could not hear my GF talking beside me. was out for 15min tops and got pulled over by the SF police. got off only because I went to high school with the officer. will be leaving the silencers in for sure!

 

Yeah that is one loud exhaust. Depends probably at what RPM as well, my exhaust is pretty defeaning inside the car, especially around 3500-4000rpm

 

Could of told you the Invidia would cause bleeding ears, and it's a dual. It's going to be loud, even with the silencers in. Hope that the silencers don't rattle like my J's used to. It was almost worse than the unsilenced exhaust.

I know that the excessive noise definitely decreases my daily driving enjoyment of the car. Great on the track, sucks on the drive home.

 

Had you run a quick search through this site about the Invidia you would have known! That exhaust is damn loud!

Hopefully those silencers help muffle the sound.

it's cool at first it wears on you quickly.

 

Invidia N1 series is one of the loudest exhasut I've ever heard....people turn their head miles away when they hear my car approaching..Thats why I sold it and go back to stock

 

went to a small village near my town today. this is a tourest village that is set on the rideau river, put it this way on a sat there is about 10000 people over the age of 70 hear. did I ever get some nasty looks when I went through town. everyone stopped and stared like I was waving a gun around or somthing. was pritty funny!

MY GF hates driving in it now, so the upside is she does not ask to take the car anymore!

 

hahaha I know how you feel, I felt like a criminal driving with the invidia. Its totally not neighbor hood friendly
