Default My best of the day...

So I reviewed my videos of my runs and it's obvious why this was my best run, the "trapezoid" was MUCH smoother, than any of my other runs, the slalom I ran faster, the hairpin I completely botched but not too bad, and the last few corners I didn't almost spin, slow in fast out.

I'm still waiting on the final results, This run went back and forth from 63s to 65s 3 or 4 times.

Comments on the run. These are in the course order.

- I think you could of done a little throttle turning on the first "skidpad" part to rotate the car faster.
- The other 90 degree turn was too wide. You can get closer and turn sharper.
- Still a little behind on the steering on the slolam.
- You were balancing the throttle on the straight coming back to the stop box.
- Brake later and get on the gas faster. Try to be either flat throttle, full brake. Only balance the throttle on non-flat throttle corners.

1) ok, I think I went into too fast but you might be right.
2) Yes, I kept trying to get better at this corner, grrrr I needed more dry runs.
3) Yup, not looking far enough ahead
4) Not sure about this one, coming out of the trapezoid you mean? after the flick? I think I was being a little cautious as I kept almost spinning there, I should post the video of the sideways gate action LOL. I was in 2nd, I floored it out of the flick, then again out of the left right combo then braked hard for the right then left coming to the box, I probably didn't floor it after that as I kept losing it there.

Thanks for the tips, I will watch the video some more to see where I can improve. Need one to compare with

I'm going to get the wide angle lense it's hard to see everything, and I'm going to raise my mount up a couple of inches.

I had technical difficulties Sunday.

It would be cool to do synchronized side by side video though. It would definitely show where line and speed differ between us.

Yes, I obtained that pinnacle software and it can create picture in picture, and I can be edited to have them side by side.

I'm looking for a cheap power inverter to charge the camera battery, mine barely made it, I left it on once, and recorded a lot of junk waiting in line.

XS Cargo sold out of the $17.99 inverters, cheapest worth buying I can find is $39.99. I'll wait and see if they get more next week.

I bought the ZR300 today instead of the ZR100 got the wideangle lens. And I redid my mount so it is higher up a little.

I want the inverter so when we go to Montreal I can charge the battery and film maybe some stuff during the trip if it's sunny and not raining. Also if Tracy comes she can film some of the runs when I am marshalling and then I won't have to worry about the battery dieing.

Camera is a fun toy. Here's a vid of me saving my a$$

Well I got an inverter by accident LOL

I went to radioshack, they had one for $24.95 but it was the wrong tag it was suppose to be $34.95 But they gave it to me for $24 So I got a 175 watt inverter, I can charge the camera while driving, and use it off the car battery.
