Default New Radio

Hi all....

One of the first things that I would like to address is the sound system in my car. The S system is fine I would just like to upgrade. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in Ottawa who can handle the particular nature of this car.... Has anyone mounted the headrest speakers. I am starting from scratch here.

Thanks...

Gropos who doesn't frequent the forum much put in S-Pods which fit into the roll hoops. I'm not sure if S-pods are still for sale. DO a search.

I'm not so versed in Ottawa car electronics stores so I'm not much help sorry.

Most upgrade the speakers in the doors, and change out the deck. Alipne seems to be the choice for most when it comes to a new deck. Not sure which shop in Ottawa could help you out though?

You'll also want the modifry thing so you can use the dash controls for your afermarket stereo. I would check the electronics forum, tons of good info there.

I changed my door speakers, deck and put in rear speakers behind the seats... until I went insane and removed it all.

Thanks very much all.... I will do some more homework. I was thinking of adding speakers behind the seats and upgrading to something like an Alpine. Also adding a multi disk changer probably mounted in the trunk.

Cheers

You can always do what I did, instead of a changer get an Ipod adapter and load up your Ipod with tunes, if you have one ofcourse. I purchased an adapter from Neo Ion as it plugs directly into my OEM stereo and I retain all of the OEM stereo and dash controls, sweet little device!

Goodluck either way!
