Organized drive/meet?
Hey all,
Im creating this thread a little early in hopes to get the ball rolling for some sort of Ottawa S2K owners meet, greet and cruise. I've heard from a few of the Ottawa S2K'ers that a trip to the Adirondak's is well worth it, or even a rip through the roads near Calabogie is nice. Personally I would be up for anything. I have noticed that in the past year we have had a few new members join from Ottawa. That being said I thought it would be neat to have one of or both of the CO's set something up? D'arcy, James you guys up for something like this?
If you own an S and reside in Ottawa post here in this thread as I have done below so we know if you would even be interested in doing something like this. A simple Yes, No or Maybe would suffice, this would give whom ever chooses to organize it an idea of the how many would actually show. Again, I realize this is quite early to start up, but it gives everyone time to plan around it. From this list we could then firsgure out possible dates. This also would not have to be 1 single event, I think multiple meets would be cool to do also. I know there are different car gatherings in Ottawa throughout the week during the spring/summer months and we could always meet there every once in a while?

No US trips please, geez I just went to the US in my Mazda3 and got the third degree, don't want to cross the border with the S.
But Calabogie or something I'm good for, we'll do something early.
Anyone also interested in Track or Auto-X this year? Of course Steve is in (ahem I know of a 9-5 shanny day for $150).

I'm in for a ride. I think the roads around Perth would be great for a day trip and great for a first time drive not too far from Ottawa.
This is the first road Wing and I were talking about:

There also also lots of other roads as well! We can discuss where people think and then maybe move on to a vote on it.

Also here is another map from some motorcycle guys for other roads that they claim are fun on a bike. I'm sure if it's fun on a bike then in an S it would be fun too!

The roads in yellow are the ones that are described!
