Default Suspect leaking in trunk

Hi Everyone,

I just bought an AP1, I'm not sure if this is normal or not but I found the jack and tool in the trunk are rusted. Would this be leaking from the softtop? or just aged? thank you.

Welcome to the community.

If your tool kit is rusted, I'd pull up the carpet in the trunk and check for water damage. Softtop...perhaps. Could also be a leak in the trunk floor.

How is your soft spot? Possible it could be leaking from a bad soft top install where it meets the body, or if your plastic window is cracked. There are also drainage channels that could be overfilling. Pull out the carpet and see where it's coming in
