Default water in trunk

hey guys, I have water in my trunk, I took out all the trunk lining and its really wet on the left and rite side where the insulation under the trunk lining is , it was also damp where the spare tire goes. I really don't feel like taking off my back bumper to seal the trunk vent so i will do my best to seal this from inside. I'm wondering if the water might be coming from my roof drains/sinks? where are these located and how do i clean them out. there might be some debris stuck in there. thanks a lot.

Trunk closing far enough? I had a similar issue and I adjusted my trunk latch slightly to close a bit further down to "OEM" level.

I will actually go out and check for that right now. I just stripped all of my trunk lining yesterday, going to use some sound deadening spray from Canadian tire and apply some silicon around the trunk vent to insure no leaking onto my sub or amp. I also tried my best to clean out my soft top drains, they were really gunked up. i jerry rigged a 1/2inch hose on my home depot shop vac and was able to clear all the debris out of the "sink" and able to visually see the hole of the "drain". i used so chicken wire to fish out the remaining debris. unfortunately I couldn't get the wire to come out the end. but i poured water into the drain and it seems to be working. HOPEFULLY no more water. I will post all the pics when I'm finished.

Check around for rust while you have the lining out. The problem was quite severe in my case and required a bit more effort to repair.
