Hi, guys I've been away from the forum for a while! (on various outdoorsy trips, plus I wired up my comptech ESM unit backwards a while back so my s2k was temporarily out of order).

Anyways, I've logged back on and I see you are planning another mountain ride. I'm away on vacation for the first 3 weeks of July, but after that I'm up for a ride like that. I'd personally like a combo of good roads I know plus a bit of exploration.

there is a slight possibility that I could be due for one on the 25th but I won't know till late on in the week cause I have something pending that day.

Gropos...good to see you around. Good to hear that you have been doing some hiking (probably) and enjoying the outdoors. I would like to do some more hikes with you and your group and improve my skills. Let me know if and when you plan on doing some day journey's and I could be interested in coming. My email is darcyjlee@hotmail.com

PS we should plan something from an Ottawa hike for July or Aug for a drive!

Hi, Darcy. Yep, been doing a fair bit, mostly here in the northeast, but also in the Grand Canyon on a 5-day backpack in April. You are most definitely welcome to join us (and any other s2kers out there who like the idea of a twisty road, then a hike, then more twisty roads!).

Anyway, I'll keep you in the loop. There won't be any outings until after I get back from my 3-week July vacation, though. (July 1 - 25).

I just got back from a little road trip to NYC. The GPS brought me through some route on Highway 56. The road was absolutely amazing, a solid hour of twisties on a perfectly paved road. Lots of fun!

There are many twisty roads to be discovered in New York State. I may head down this weekend on Saturday for a light drive with the GF depending on the weather.
