'03 GPW w/blue interior

I haven't "officially" picked it up yet. I do have a deposit on it, and if all goes well I get her this coming Monday.

Not sure if I will auto x it yet. I have spent the last 4-5 yrs drag racing my turbo charged teg. I just want something to cruise around in. We'll see though, I hear auto x is fun.

good to hear that you got a GPW. Did you get the one from Terrebonne Honda?

If you are hoping the S to be a good drag racing car you may be dissapointed. A big block Chevvy would be better suited for drag strips. The S's main characteristics are it's ability to handle and turn sharp corners like a surgical knife.

let us know when you pick it up!

Boostn, since you are getting it Monday, you should come out to the Auto-x on the following Sunday, it will give you a chance to feel how the car drives, just try to get a feel for the car and don't worry about competing.

Yes, it will be the one from Terrebonne Honda.

The S will be for weekend cruising, and maybe lapping/auto x. I am done with drag racing. The S has been a car that I have wanted for a very long time. Now that I am done with the whole drag racing thing Im getting one.

I will sure to post when I get possesion of her

I may just do that. Like you said it would give me an opportunity to get a feel for the car and the way it handles etc.

I have always been used to front wheel drive cars, it will be different handling a rear wheel, especially if I really want to test it out.

I'll let you know either way if I can make it or not.

Thx,
Tarcy

Even if you don't drive it, you can get rides from a lot of the regulars. The MCO isn't super-serious with the competition rules and encourages passangers. James and I can give you the S2000 autocross experience and there are a good mix of good FWD, AWD and RWD drivers to get a sense of what different cars do.

Damn! Had I known that I would of hit one of you guys up for a boot in the S2K at one of these events. This would have given me a feel for the S2K.

I have never been in one, and the closest I have ever seen one is within 30 feet. Im confident though, im sure I will love it

I may show up Sunday, and jump in with one of you guys if that's cool.

Thx again.
