Just come out and meet us! You even had a detail scheduled with me last year and you never showed up. We don't bite.
yeah I'm a flake. thought about it and didn't want just anyone buffing on my cr. plus you were pretty deep for a detail.
I don't know you personally, so I guess you still *sorta* get the benefit of the doubt, but I hate seeing shit like this. Put your big boy pants on and stop making everyone coddle you.
He is definitely a flake. He hits me up for all my parts and then flakes. He even said I try and stay away from s2ki when I spoke with him over the phone. Not sure what his deal is. Im sure he will come up with some BS excuse but its all good dude. We dont bite dont be shy.

No excuse. Just confirms I make mistakes and should stay to what I know.
I went to a tech day couple years ago, i was new myself and didn't know a single person that was attending. I rolled up like a dbag with my top down blasting Offspring music in my bone stock 08 s2k. I parked the car in Spet's drive way and was super embarrassed cuz everyone's car looked amazing and highly modified compared to mine. Long story short, PNW s2ki guys welcomed me with open arms and I am so glad i attending the event. I talked to a couple guys here on a daily/weekly basis now and have learned so much new info. about our car. Remember, those that don't jump may never fly
Big mistake on your part
Look what you got yourself into
Totally kidding
All of these guys are right. I've met a lot of people on this forum and agree even with the guys I haven't met here yet. I've known these guys for a long time & I've learned a lot from this forum and from actually meeting the fellow car nuts. Remember, we all share the same interests
It's up to you to change this into a positive thing!

Draven awesome story. I too was that cool kid back in 08 with my first s2000 or so I thought. One of the first things I did was join s2ki and man did it open my eyes. Met alot of great folks and a wealth of info. Hell I got through a clutch job in my driveway thanks to the info here and a few locals who came to lend a hand.
I think it took me a while to find s2ki lol but when I did oh man I started buying parts and boosted my ap1. I didn't know about it till 08 silly me. The friends I made from all over the places I've been at is amazing and knowledge in itself. Helps also cause I'm a mechanic too but the forums posts and DIY made it so much easier and then the his you meet that would just lend you a hand because if the great communities we have.
On a note to op being scared or shy never gets you anywhere especially making a post looking for s2k friends. Again I'm never scared to make friends even when I met these guys for the first time.
Now we all have fun together and talk about the beautiful car we all own and love.
