Default Another apartment question

Anyone had any experience with Archstone Apartments Redmond Campus? Is this area any better for car theft than my current place? They do have garages, but the only available ones right now are stupidly far away -- I'm hoping I can pay off someone in the garage next to the place I'm looking at to get their spot.

You mean the ones on 40th and 156th? Err, yeah, I lived there too. A bit nicer but more expensive. I don't know how much better they are about car theft. I only had my GSR there for a few months, but no one messed with it.

I've never lived in Archstone, but some of my friends have. I can say that the walls are thin too. My buddy used to beat on the walls when the baby next door wouldn't stop crying...

The only apartments I've lived in on the east side were Saxony in Sammamish. They were nice but the walls seemed to be on the thin side there as well. That didn't turn out to be a bad thing, because the cute girl that lived up stairs banged on my door one night when my music was too loud and I ended up dating her

What's up with all the car theft issuse? I've never... NEVER... had a problem in Sammamish, Issaquah, or downtown Bellevue area.

Thanks guys

I can live with thin walls, my bedroom is on the corner of the building. Also from this apartment I can see where I'll be parked from my bedroom window, so I can just leave my webcam running pointed at the parking spot. There are garages but no spots left, I'm going to try to bribe someone to let me have their spot.

Car theft seems to be crazy in the area. Everywhere I go, everyone I mention to that I'm getting an S2000 says "careful where you park it around here".

So better neighbourhood than my current place + webcam pointed at car + decent alarm and I think I should be alright..

Thanks!
