Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm coming down there for a vacation at the end of the month and was curious about crime/vandalism.

Have any of you had your cars messed with while parked in a hotel parking garage? I really want to drive my car but the only other person I've known that went to vegas with a convertible (it was a mr2 spyder) the car was not only broken into but was stolen.

Should I really worry about it (top being slashed,keyed, etc.) or am I being overly cautious?

Again, sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I just want to be sure. Thanks in advance.

 

why don't you just fly in.Vegas has 39812365384653 taxi's around everywhere.

 

Most parking garage has camera so it doesn't really happen a lot but it is not fool proof. I've been in Vegas for awhile now and not any problems.

 

thanks for the replies, I think I'll just valet the car, maybe that will protect it a little more.

The reason I'm not flying is because I've had my car for 8 months and have put only 3100 miles on it so I want to take it on a road trip and spend some time in it...thanks for the suggestion though.

 

My car is always parked outside. never messed with, but I have full coverage and an alarm just in case. Valet? I wouldn't want them practicing their mad tyte jdm dorifto skills on my car.

 

Park in a higher end hotels garage and just walk around from there. That is usually what I did. Park at Caesars, Bellagio, Wynn, and just walk. Also, park near the entrance to the hotel through the garage also, so the car is clearly visible.

I never had a single problem with my car there. I wanted my seats stolen though. ahaha.

 

I wanted someone to slash my top before I fixed it. Now I'll be pissed if someone does.
