Default Anybody know a thing or two about bodywork?

I just picked up an Amuse R1 replica bumper from E-Auto and I've noticed that it needs some loving to make it fit just right. I'm not really experienced with bodywork and would hate to mess up an expensive replica out of ignorance. I'd rather have the bumper fit the way I want it before I get it painted so that I don't have to pay the shop a ridiculous amount. So if anyone can lend a helping hand or maybe shoot some tips my way, that would be AWESOME!

i can help but its time consuming depending how much work needs to be done. Some can be as simply adding a little more Fiberglass/bondo, or as hard as reinforcing and molding around headlights and fendergaps. Best bet is to get it done at the shop w/a decent warranty, so if any cracks or breaks occur they can fix it.

From the looks of it, it's not that extreme. I talked to a couple guys who had to alter theirs and it wasn't that bad. Honestly, I just don't want to try anything on my own because of my limited experience. So with some help it shouldn't be too bad at all. I will talk to the guy more about the process he went through. Thanks for offering up!

btw...will provide some pizza and some beers if need be

I talked to a guy who made it fit perfect and it turns out that all he needed to do was shave down some parts of the headlight area with a dremel. I hope that's the only part needing modification. I guess we'll see how it goes.

vspc2nr you got pm

Looking nice.

Euro-tech in Kirkland is pretty good at doing custom work. They usually do high end cars like Porsches and stuff.
