Does your hood prop fit in neatly within the hole of the CF airbox lid?

 

Thats a no on the prop rod... sux

any ideas on that?....or just get the hood prop piston deals?

 

I talked to Shad at Comptech and basically all he said for SCed owners like you is bend the prop rod in the middle so that it becomes the highest point.. this shortens the length so that the prop drops in a bit better. pretty idiotic if you ask me. i guess they didn't want to recall the hundreds if not thousands of CF airbox lids... just dremel that sucker or get hood springs.

that comptech intake pipe looks downright beefy. i like it and it sounds just loud enough unlike the AEM which sounds outrageously ricer.
