Default Brake Pads

I know the season is winding down for track activities, but I also wanted to let you know that we are going to be ordering brake pads from Performance Friction.

If anyone is interested in picking up a set of the 97 compound for the S2000, shoot me a PM. If there is enough interest locally for these pads, we will consider stocking these as well, for those "Friday night before the track day and I don't have enough pad" emergencies.

As a matter of fact, there are Miata pads in the mix. They are the 97 compound as well.

Yeah, my CRX never had better brakes on it than with PFC 90 or 93 compound.

We raced in the 9 hour Rolex GT race at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah this month with the Corvette, and used PFC 01 on the front, and 97 in the rear. We changed out the front pads about 6 hours into the race, and the rears lasted the entire race. The brakes had no fade from the beginning of the race to the end, and that was with pro drivers Mike Fitzgerald and Don Salama (Turner Motorsports) in the car.

The PFC pads are some of the best pads you can get. We are also getting the PFC street line, so if there is any interest there, just let me know as well. They make good pads for trucks that see a lot of towing duty. We are now supplying to some of the local Police cars as well, so if you happen to have a Crown Vic sitting around...

Mike, if you haven't had the pleasure of running PFC pads you owe it to yourself to splurge for one round ...... from my experience, they end up being cheaper in the end since they "stay good" longer

I think both Russ (STi) and Marek (Evo) like them too.
