Default Can anyone host pictures?

Last week some of my co-workers got to see the first production Ford GT, which was delivered here in Kent.

My co-worder used to work for GM, and his buddy still works for Ford Marketing. Well, the Ford guy flew down here to personally deliever the first GT to John Shirley, an ex- Microsoftie. He invited my co-worker to see the car the day before he delivered it.

I have about 13 pics, each at about 200KB.

I would have been there, but I was out of town for business. Its a sweet looking car.

Thanks!

The GT is definitely the one Ford I have great respect for. I can't wait to see and hear one in person. Post them pics!

Sorry for the delay!

My friends ask that their faces be blurred out

Enjoy

Very nice and clear pictures! I see that you took my advice of using that site.

As for the car, I'm not particularly fond of it. It just looks very rough and unrefined to me. It's one hella performance machine, but it just looks very rough. For the price, I'd get something else, like the awesome Neon SRT-4.

very nice car, thanks for taking the time to share with us. the only gripe I have about the new gt is that it's supercharged...for some reason I feel ford did it the easy way by just boosting the engine.

c'mon give ford a break. that car went from concept to production in less than a year. that's unheard of in any production vehicles, not mention the gt is a low volume production supercar. besides, ford is not that technosavvy to be able to squeeze as much power out of a "smaller displacement" motor, unlike honda, bmw, or ferrari, and to put a bigger displacement motor in the gt that will produce the same amount of power that it does in its current form, will no doubt add some hefty weight to that thing, which will not only make the car slower, but the car will probably end up not being as agile in the twisties, not to mention by the look of the engine bay, there's probably not much room to put anything bigger in there.

are you nuts?? that thing is a friggin bargain. all of its competitors will cost at least $30K more. if i had the money, i'd definite sign up for one. and if you want plush then get an slr mclaren or an aston martin, but i bet you those cars will not be anywhere near as thrilling to drive.
