Well. I work for Compustar and we've been doing Manual transmission vehicles since 1998.

We have never lost a case.

We are also in development of a new modules called a DAS sensor. Its a built in digital dual shock sensor, digital tilt sensor and a G-Force sensor. The G-force sensor is ideal for a drop top. As soon as the mod senses any G-force it will kill the ignition.

Anyone know of a place where I can buy a good alarm and have them install? I don't want to go to somewhere like cartoys or bestbuy where they are likely to create more problems.

I just bought a 03 S2K over the weekend. Came with seatlocks and I already ordered hardtop locks from Heeltoe. Just waiting for them to show up.

I live in West Seattle and have to park either in our condo lot or on the street. Needless to say I am a bit nervous.

I would really rather not have to drive down to Tacoma and burn a whole day so if there is something / someone close to Seattle I would appreciate any info.

Thx!

I got my compustar remote start alarm installed at cnc. I throw cnc out there a lot in the pacific forums bc they are the only ones who work on my car. Great quality work and group of guys. I know the personally for the past 3 years. They can get the alarm plus any extras you want with the alarm.

Compustar is your best best as far as alarms go. Car will not start if in gear. Once you close the door the car will lock and turn off. Another thing that is new with compustar is the phone app where you can do everything with your cell phone so you don't have to carry the big two way pager/remote with you everywhere.

Compustar is the best way to go!
We are not in the 90's so these new remote start systems work great on manual. With the compustar system's the car needs to be shut off a certain way for it to recognize its in the correct setting when wanting it to start up again. Car stays on until the door are closed then activates remote start and locks the car. If you remote start the car it'll stay on for how ever long you program the timer or until the detects the the key in the ignition, if the brakes or clutch are pressed before key is inserted it'll turn off and go into panic mode or if you insert incorrect key.. Best of luck on finding what suits your needs

I have the compustar 2W900FMR-3A if that helps. It's the model number off my 2 way remote. If I remember correctly it comes with everything I.e. shock sensor, remote start and all that. I think you gotta get the module for the key. Also, make sure you get the hood pin and trunk release.
