Community Organizer Job Description
Creating a new topic since I can't post in the voting thread.
Is there a list of responsibilities this person is supposed to do? I think this would help with voting for the right person instead of just a popularity contest.

Thanks for those that have voted so far. I appreciate the support, win or lose. Spets or Manga would both be fine choices. We all have our own strengths to offer the position and am sure the right guy will be nominated who ever that is
Thanks Jeff

I have met all three "candidates" on more than one occasion and can say I think all three are excellent choices, as I would recommend any of them. They are all very active here on the board, participate in numerous meets/events, and are often willing to help. I can think of at least a couple others as well, but I'm not sure they would currently have time for the role.
In addition to help "organizing" as is in the job title, I think moderating the PNW section is another very important part. There is always a fine balance from being lax enough without being too lax, as in putting up with so much without going too far, while still keeping things in check and knowing when to step in. Ever since I first started using this site about a year ago I have been satisfied with how this board has been "ran", and hope this continues as we current members age, while new ones step in. From what I gather, most other members' experiences on this board has been a positive one overall, which I assume is partly why this community is still going strong in what I believe is its 13th year?
