Default Cv joint help!

Hi
My car is shaking pretty bad and I think my cv joint is goner.
Anyone willing to swap my cv boot for a nominal fee over the weekend?
I have no tools or skills

is your car shaking when it gets up to speed? im having the same problem. let me know when you're doing it so i know how to do it whenever i get parts.

You put a wear spot on your cv cups. Either need to buy Axel spacers (eBay super cheap like 80$) or swap your cups. If either of those doesn't work you need to do both.


All you need is a Jack some Jack stands and a normle rachet set.

Jack the rear up and start un bolting the Axel cups once you have them off swap them and put them on.

If you neeed pics I'm almost certain there is a diy write thread with lots of pics. Should take about 2 hours for a person with no experience .

could defenitly be done WITHOUT REMOVING the axels from the car, save yourself an hour

yeah im going to try doing it without taking off the axles. i know i need at least spacers for how low i am. would spacers bring back my caster a bit?
