well after getting her all in and properly aligned (center/pitch) and only about a half inch to far forward (still 1/2" farther back than most) i realized i had to cut out some of my beautiful shave job...
funny story: stayed up until almost 1am last night working on it.. and finally after my 3rd time dropping/pulling and testing clearances i lost my temper and got out my 15 lb sledge, and got caveman on it! however that was apparently very loud because my roomate woke up and hit the power disconnect...all went black.

also... I am getting this low and deep... about 2 1/2" further back and lower... That is based off the engine's respective center lines. top/bottom/left right. for a reference the low point of my oilpan is only 3/16" above the lowest part of the K-frame, and i am cutting a portion of the topside of it. The lowest portion of our frame rails (as my car sits) is exactly 15" from the ground. the lowest part of my engine (Due to -3 degree of angle reguried by my Ls) is on my bellhousing, and it is 15 1/8".
Guys there is no way I would do this again, however I would be really exited if you guys really wanted to try this, and of course I would help... Like 2-3 days a week. Now maybe it would get easier each time, and if I did it continuously. Also if I just had more daytime working hours. I have stayed up past 1am at least 15 times since I started, but I really suck at body work.

So today was beautiful, and I got off work a little early, time to get kicking in full gear! My plan was to have my bay painted by tonight...
And the hell broke loose. First apparently I left my gas turned on before I left for the weekend, so I had to run for some mix... NBD I needed paint anyways, while at wesco I decided I definitely had some reducer at home so save the money... Lol I don't. Also if you look at my pics you might notice I cut out the front frame brace... The common consensus is that solid mounting the motor is good enough. But I just want more rigidity... So I decided to build a front frame brace, pouts I can use this to add strength to my sway bar relocation awesome right, 2 bird with one stone.

Now here is where shit starts to hit the fan... Having left for the weekend in a big hurry I kinda forgot/didn't notice that I had dropped the front subframe and never raised it back up... Ruh roh shaggy:/ the steering rack doesn't clear wtf!

Here is my fix inside are 2 pieces of 3/4x3/8 flat stock that are 6" long I drilled 2 holes on either end and just welded the crap out of everything I could. Now I could have made this so that nobody would ever know, but decided to leave it as a tribute if sorts... Exactly y not to take little mini vacations.
Next up, let's weld in my motor mounts... This task was easier to solve... Weld is spattering eventually found that my flux line was pinched... Got it all cleaned up and threw a quick/ final coat of primer on.
