Default In Dash Navigation Double Din

I was curious if anyone (semi) locally has taken the dash off and custom fitted in a navigation bezel. I've read for years, put a double din in the stock radio area, but I am still looking into trying this.

Anyway, just curious.

Thanks!

Exactly.

This is what I have now, it works well and I wouldn't trade it for not having one, but I want to learn how to get it up top.

From what I've read, many people use the RHD JDM bezel for our LHD cars. But they modify it, just haven't figured out how yet.

I have the bezel, there just isnt enough space to put a double din navi in the dash.. most units are so bulky and it hits the plastic pieces that run to the ac vents.

You can run a slim 5-5.5 lcd with external brain for the navi.

...yeah, good luck with that bud, then your vent would be inop.. air travels through that plastic. If you cut it, it would blow air behind the dash and directly onto the unit. i would have to say that condensation/moisture would destroy your electronics in a couple of months!!!

Any input on if the middle was cut out of the hard plastic ac tubing, and a replacement rubber tube was used instead?

One that could be positioned out of the way?
